Abstract


With the rapid development of social economy and the progress of science and technology, people in the pursuit of knowledge is more and more intense. As an important way for people to obtain knowledge, University Library plays an important role in cultivating talents at colleges and universities. Continuously improving the library facilities and conditions is the inevitable demand of the social development. Twenty-first Century is the knowledge society and information society to cultivate talents in Colleges and universities, the library construction direct the quality of personnel training. The university library are responsible for personnel training, education and support scientific research task. So it is an important department in Colleges and universities. How the library construction level of a school, can follow the development of the society, can meet the demand of talent training, is one of the important index to measure the quality of training the university level and talents. Therefore, the construction of a high level of the library has become one of the important task.This dissertation tintroduces the source, background, research significance, domestic and foreign research status and research ideas, methods and innovations of the dissertation. It also explains the relevant theoretical foundation of the green library construction, present situation, characteristics of the traditional library and analyzes the limitation of the green library, construction principles and main content in detail the construction of the new campus of HeFei University of Technology, as the example, the analysis and summary of the problem may occur in the process of green library, and put forward corresponding solving strategies as well.
