Abstract


Urban and regional integration is one of the themes of regional economics.Although domestic and foreign scholars have had a more systematic study of theinteraction between cities and done some research base of urban integration, the studyon integration of near-field port city is also essentially a blank. Port cities play adecisive role in the process of economic development, but the vicious competition ofnear-field port city seriously affected the promotion of regional competitiveness.Based on this, it must establish a theoretical framework and provide guidance for thenear-field port city integration.Based on the demand of theoretical study and practical background, the paperattempts to learn the development experience of the near-field port city integrationfrom home and abroad. Taking Jinzhou and Huludao as an example, based on theanalysis of background and motivation, the paper tries to find general developmentpattern, point out node factors and propose regulation system of the near-field portcity integration, in order to find valid path and provide theoretical support for thenear-field port city integration. Full text is divided into seven chapters:The first chapter is concept and research progress of the near-field port cityintegration. This chapter mainly defines the associated concept, elaborates theoreticalcontents and introduces research progress of the near-field port city integration.The second chapter is theoretical foundation of the near-field port city integration.This chapter combs basic theories of the near-field port city integration, includingregional division of labor theory, spatial interaction theory, symbiosis theory and otherclassical theory. This part laid the foundation for the construction of theoreticframework of the near-field port city integration.The third chapter is theoretical framework of the near-field port city integration.The construction of theoretic framework is the core of theoretical study of this paper.Firstly, this chapter analyzes the motion of the near-field port city integration.Secondly, this chapter combs general development pattern and proposes time series ofthe near-field port city integration. Thirdly, this chapter conducts a detailed study ofgeneral issues in the integration of the near-field port city from five aspects. Finally,this chapter proposes regulation system of the near-field port city integration.The fourth chapter is the evolution of regional relations between Jinzhou andHuludao. This chapter combs the historical evolution and interaction between Jinzhou and Huludao by stages.The fifth chapter is the status pattern of regional relations development betweenJinzhou and Huludao. This chapter summarizes development status and problems ofJinzhou and Huludao to provide basic information and research directions for thefurther study of the integration of the two cities.The sixth chapter is the dynamic mechanism of the integration between Jinzhouand Huludao. From three aspects of macro background, basic conditions and drivingfactors, this chapter comprehensively analyzes the motion of the integration of the twocities.The seventh chapter is the pathways and regulation of the integration betweenJinzhou and Huludao. From three aspects of target and mode, main ways andregulation system, this chapter proposes targets, paths and tactics of the integration ofthe two cities.
