Abstract


The textile industry has been one of Chinese traditional pillar industry, which has made great contribution to the country for increasing employment, developing economica and achieving export earnings. However, compared with other developed countries, there is still huge development sapce for Chinese textile industry technical level. Therefore, we should fully analysis of our current texile industry and identify limiting bottleneck in the development of Chinese textile industry, then develop reasonable measures to revitalize Chinese textile industry.In this paper, Shijiazhuang city in Hebei province as an example, we reviewed the textile industry of Shijiazhuang city and pointed out the challenges and opportunities. Analysis results showed that Shijiazhuang has advantages for the traditional textile market, while with the fierce competition increased in international market, the textile industry of Shijiazhuang City should fully aware of that domestic demand growth will be driving force for the development of Shijiazhuang textile yield, thus taking a new road to industrialization and shift the allocation of resources to achieve industrial cluster development strategy. Then, in order to achieve the rapid development of the textile industry in Shijiazhuang city, we believed that we should learn the advanced technology of the foreign developed countries to achieve its essence detours strategic. Therefore, the technology innovations of foreign textile industries were analyzed, and the results indicated that technological innovations are the key factors for the development of textile industry. Therefore, we assessed the ability to innovate of Shijiazhuang city. It was worthy noted that the technology innovation ability model of Shijiazhuang was established, and the model was analyzed to develope a countermeasure, which is suit for textile industry innovation of Shijiazhuang city. The results showed that Shijiazhuang city is an innovative city, while we should introduce high-level talents, increase scientific and technological innovation investment in the innovation process.Finally, high-performance industrial textiles are described in this paper, and it was noted that high-performance industrial textiles will be the transition future direction of the textile industry. In addition, due to numerous application areas of high-performance industrial textiles, which will break the bottleneck of the conventional textiles that is only for clothing in the future of Shijiazhuang city, hence the textile industry should pay adequate attention to this. Then, in the view of current of development of high-performance industrial textiles of Shijiazhuang city, we outlined the development programme which is suit for the development of high-performance texile industries of Shijiazhuang city.
