Abstract


With the continuous development of science and technology, more and more intense competition among enterprises, the quality of products and services has become the key to the success or failure of the enterprise competition. Six Sigma is one of the world’s most advanced quality management methods, which first proposed by Motorola, aims to reduce the number of defects in products and production processes, and requirements for excellence to dramatically improve product quality and reduce costs. As a responsible and stringent requirements enterprises, the introduction of the Six Sigma quality management is imperative. Start with the practical problems in quality management,this article studies the implementation of Six Sigma project management in Qingzhou Cigarette Factory.In a brief introduction to Six Sigma concepts and history, the paper descripts the concepts of Six Sigma implementation process, teams, tools indepth, detailed and synthetically, and summarizes related research at home and abroad. Subsequently, through the introduction of Qingzhou Cigarette Factory, the paper analyzes the existing problems in Qingzhou Cigarette Factory quality management, and discusess the feasibility and necessity of the implementation of Six Sigma. Next, the article focuses on the embodiment of Six Sigma in Qingzhou Cigarette Factory, and emphasizes on the process of the implementation of Six Sigma projects (DMAIC process), and presents a brief introduction to the Sigma evaluation. The fifth part of the article illustrates the protection mechanism of Six Sigma projects in Qingzhou Cigarette Factory from seven aspects integrated and comprehensive. The end of the paper describes the inspiration in this research and direction in the future.
