Abstract


Nowadays, the mobile communication industry has shifted its focus from the voice business to the information value-added service. The account managers have to make some changes to cope with this situation. They cannot be only salesman of personal communications service. They have to be the introducers of information products, the providers of information integration solutions, the builders of information systems. The performances of account managers influence the performance evaluation of companies more and more deeply. In this paper, the research focuses on the performance evaluation and motivation of informatization project team. It tries to find out the way to effectively improve the personnel allocation efficiency of project team, to maximize the initiative of team members and achieve the project goals. Therefore this research has important significance.Firstly, this paper discusses the characteristic of informatization project, the related theory of informatization project team’s performance management and the research status at home and abroad. Secondary, the paper analyses some sticking points of informatization project team’s performance management, and thinks that there are some disadvantages of the existing management mode. After that, the paper uses the5P theory, the Balanced Scorecard and related theories to study the performance management of informatization project team, and constructs the performance management mode of account managers in telecommunication enterprises operators. Finally, the paper takes China Mobile Group XZ Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as the China Mobile XZ), a typical company, as an example for detailed analysis. It points out the characteristic of account managers’ team, and the important role of account managers’team in telecommunication enterprises operators. In accordance with the actual management conditions of China Mobile XZ and the performance management theories at home and abroad, the paper put forth the Overall Performance Management System which is based on the Balanced Scorecard. It suggests managing the account managers’ performance by means of two dimensional management, to wit the process performance dimension and result performance dimension. It also inquires to the quantized integral administration mode. Consequently, this paper put forward the team performance management mode of all kinds enterprise in view of present situation.
