Abstract


In the21st century, with the intensification of market economy process, enterpriseswho only rely on their own resources and capabilities have been unable to sustain theircompetitive position. Only integration with various partners, both internal and externalresources and core competencies, which obtain a competitive advantage. Enterprises mustcooperate with partners to establish a good relationship of trust in order to take advantage ofexternal resources, complementary resources and shared interests. Further, the establishmentof trust among enterprises can reduce transaction costs, reduce the information asymmetry,improve operational efficiency, and establish long-term cooperation willingness. Therefore,how to build a trust mechanism between cooperative enterprises and how to trustmechanism affects performance, has become a research focus in the modern enterprisecooperation.Combining with the existing relevant theory and empirical studies at home and abroad,with the view of relationship between supply chain enterprises, the paper discusses theinfluencing factors of trust and trust’s impact on performance. In this study, on the basis ofdefining the connotation of the trust, the trust is divided into "cognitive trust" and "affectivetrust", and trust factor generated extract from the supplier characteristics and businesseswith suppliers of behavioral characteristics, exploring the relationship of influencing factorsand multi-dimensional trust. Meanwhile, the inter-enterprise performance is divided intotwo dimension,"cooperation performance " and " Willingness of long-term relationship ".Among them, the cooperative performance is measured using financial indicators,Willingness of long-term relationship is measured using non-financial indicators, exploringthe trust how to influence on performance among enterprises, such as theory model,"thesupply chain characteristics–trust–performance ", and putting forward relevantassumptions. Through the questionnaire survey which supply chain enterprises had a historyin Jiangsu province, the paper will use SPSS and LISREL to analysis data, hypothesis andverification, and which inspect the influencing factors of trust and the relationship betweentrust and performance.The empirical results show that between the trust’s antecedent factors and trust has adifferent relationship. Cognitive trust and affective trust on performance will alsorespectively have different effects, while the test results are discussed. Finally, the paper puts forward some suggests to protest trust relationship among enterprises.Studying the trust among enterprises, this paper can enrich the interorganizational trustresearch system, and provide certain reference and guidance in the supply chain cooperativeenterprises dealing with relationships in our country.
