Abstract

With the rapid development of world economy, accelerating the pace of financial innovation and development, Various types of financial risks are constantly accumulating, The development of risk management for banks has a major impact, Can be said that risk management has become commercial banks in the development of an element can not be ignored. For financial institutions and commercial banks, financial risk in banking risk management has become an important issue, is the major risk management of banks included in the agenda. With the rapid development of China’s financial industry, urban commercial banks and the ever-expanding scale, the rapid expansion of the trading range and complexity of the sharp increase in business to make financial risk management and more attention. Fraud and some are financial risks, the banking sector caused a large loss, and even caused the collapse of some large companies such as banks Dussel and Bahrain. At present, China’s commercial banks are in a high-speed development and critical period of transition, attention to financial risk is the emphasis on large banks in the financial environment of survival. I hope the commercial banks for financial risk management research can inspire all of us.Writing this article made the background and significance, analysis of domestic and foreign commercial banks operating status of risk management research, a brief introduction to this study idea, research methods and text structure. Describes the commercial banks financial risk definition, classification, management and operation of various types of risk management theory. By analyzing the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany and other developed countries, commercial banks, financial risk management practices, research experience and practice of advanced financial risk management of China’s commercial banks inspiration. Analysis of China’s commercial banks and the status of financial risk management major problems, commercial banks to find the existence of the main reasons of financial risk management,such as:lack of awareness of financial risk, the lack of a favorable environment for financial risk management, internal control is not improve the quality of employees is not high, there are loopholes in financial risk management processes, a serious shortage of external oversight, lack of technical aspects of effective guarantees. Commercial banks in operation for risk problems that the commercial banks to strengthen financial risk management measures, such as:comprehensive understanding of financial risk, strengthen risk management culture, improve the corporate governance structure, strengthen financial risk management tools to effectively use to establish a long-term financial risk management mechanism. Through L bank as an example, the first analysis of L bank was first established in the financial risk aspects of the problems, then pointed out that by improving the corporate governance structure, strengthen the rules and regulations, standardize operations operation management tools, financial risk management to establish long-term mechanism several other measures to strengthen financial risk management, and achieved remarkable results.
