Tourism Economy Disparity is an important part of regional economy disparity; it has beenattracting more and more attention of the researchers in recent years. Along with the nationaltourism demand increasing, tourism economy is an important force that can not be ignored inpromoting economic and social development, and it plays an important role in national economy.Different regions have different tourism resources, economic foundation, tourism infrastructureconditions, traffic communication, industrial policy environment and other factors, and thesethings can cause regional disparity and imbalance in the process of tourism economydevelopment in regions. The correct analysis of the regional disparity in the process of thedevelopment of tourism economy can recognize the reality situation of tourism economydevelopment; it will benefit the regional tourism economic development in right direction, andreduce the regional disparity of tourism economy of different regions, and promote sustained andhealthy development of regional tourism economy.The article is mainly based on the statistical data of tourism economy from2000to2011inGuangdong Province. From the change of time and space disparity in two aspects, and makesanalysis to disparities of the tourism economy development of Pearl River Delta，eastern，western and northern regions, and each cities in Guangdong Province individually. Whenanalyzing regional time disparity of tourism economy from2000to2011in Guangdong province,analyzes from two aspects of domestic tourism revenue and foreign exchange earnings; andanalyses the absolute disparity by choosing extreme value and variation coefficient; and analysesthe relative disparity by using extreme range and standard deviation; and chooseHerfindahl-Hirschman Index as the geographical concentration of industries of tourism economydevelopment in Guangdong province. Through the comprehensive analysis, the results show thatthe regional absolute disparity is expanding year by year and the relative disparity is decreasingslowly in Guangdong province, and there is a fierce competition of the regional tourism economy.When analyzing space disparity of tourism economy development in Guangdong province,mainly select the statistical data of tourism economy of2011; and using principal componentanalysis for the overall analysis through the construction of index system; it is divided into fivedifferent gradations of tourism economy comprehensive development level on the space. In orderto study the regional tourism economy disparity of overall time and space variation process better in Guangdong province, this article mainly use the Their Index to study the overall processchange of tourism economy, interlocal and inner local disparities. The results show that the mainreason of disparities of the regional tourism economy development in Guangdong province is thefour regions internal disparities; the contribution rate of Pearl River Delta for the total disparityis increasing year by year, and the contribution rate of eastern, western and northern regions inGuangdong Province is slowing down; disparities of the tourism economy development betweenPearl River Delta and eastern, western and northern regions in Guangdong province is enlarginggradually. Finally, this paper analyzes the factors that influence disparities of regional tourismeconomy of Guangdong Province, and puts forward countermeasures to the coordinateddevelopment of tourism economy.
