Objective To investigate the vascular wall echo tracking technology (E-Tracking, ET) evaluate carotid elasticity smokers application value . Methods 50 cases of active smoking , passive smoking group, 45 cases , 15 cases of smoking cessation group and normal control group of 44 cases , the application of ET technology to quantify carotid artery blood flow velocity analysis to assess atherosclerosis parameters , including pressure strain elastic modulus (Eρ ) , stiffness (β), compliance (AC), pulse wave velocity (PWVβ), systolic blood vessel diameter (Ds) and diastolic diameter (Dd). Results β, PWVβ and Eρ: active smokers , passive smoking were higher than the normal control group and smoking cessation group, the difference was significant (p lt; 0.01, p lt; 0.05): active and passive smokers group , the normal control group and smoking cessation were no significant differences (p gt; 0.05); AC: active smokers , passive smoking group were significantly lower than the control group, the difference was significant (p lt; 0.01); active smokers , passive and quitting smoking group were no significant differences (p gt; 0.05); Ds and Dd: four groups showed no significant difference (p gt; 0.05). Conclusion vessel wall echo tracking technology can be found in cigarettes early contacts endothelial function changes, the clinical early prevention and early treatment of important guiding significance , is a simple, non-invasive , fast and accurate method for detecting the measurement results .
