Since December2004, office of the central committee of the communist party, the general office of the state council jointly promulgated by the2004-2010red tourism development plan outline. Later, the rich resources of red of every region by means of its own conditions and policy support, the development of red tourism project, let red tourism has become part of the local tourism industry, and promoting regional tourism industry and economic role in driving.This paper in the first basic properties of knowing things and features, then can promote things to make the development of strategy and system as the starting point, with the aid of all kinds of literature material, first discuss the public products field about quasi-public product concept, scope, nature and classification, combined with a public products in the operation and management mechanism, including pricing mechanism and supply mechanism. On the foundation of the theory of quasi-public products, combined with the summary of the classic case of the red tourism, related to the concept of red tourism, red tourism products and the connotation of the basic nature, red tourism development course and the present development of the analysis of the present situation of tourist products and red elements of nature analysis, to explore and research of red tourism’s quasi-public products properties. And proposes some tentative quasi-pubic products from the basic points of nature in view of the red tourism sustainable and efficient development future can take some of the operation and management methods.Full text can be divided into4parts:the first part is through to the research background,the development status of description to bring the purpose of and meaning of writing this article; the second part is aimed at public product characteristics, nature, connotation and are further research; the third part is the nature f the public products on the basis f the research, according to the concept, red tourism development course and the present situation of red tourism products and the connotation, features and components analysis, explore the red tourism quasi-public product properties; the fourth part is for the red tourism quasi-public product properties, and puts forward related business management advice.
