Abstract


Insufficient supply of funds in rural areas and formal financial institutions failed toachieve the efficient allocation of financial resources in rural areas, become a bottleneckrestricting China’s economic and social development in rural areas. Rural banks injectedvitality into the development of China’s rural financial market. Improve the rural financialmarket competition strength. Improved the problem of shortage of supply of rural finance tosome extent. But following the rapid development of the new type of rural financialinstitutions, there are many problems remain to be solved. These include: a new type of ruralfinancial institutions in rural financial market how to locate and implement market entry,should take what kind of operation mechanism,on the savings market how to raise enoughmoney,how to evaluate its performance, etc.This paper based on the related theory of finance and management, using the combiningof the standard analysis and empirical research method,centering on the new rural financialinstitutions to enter the market barriers,market concentration, market product differentiation,market behavior,carry out analysis, and evaluated the operation process of the macroscopicand microcosmic performance,and put forward the policy suggestions of the new type of ruralfinancial institutions perfect operating mechanism.This paper is divided into sevenchapters,the first part is the introduction. The second part presents the related theoreticalbasis,such as Game theory and principal-agent theory. The third part provides an overview ofthe current development of the national rural banks, and focus on the development of the ruralbank in Shandong Province. The fourth part analysis the facing market structure throughbarriers to market entry, market concentration and product differentiation. Part5analyze theoperation of the market behavior of the rural banks from the perspective of the village bankinvestment entities, sources of funding, business objects, behavior and cooperative behavior.The sixth part evaluated the village banks’ performance from internal and externalenvironment. Part7according to the full text of the analysis, given the followingrecommendations:(1) Village banks should clear market positioning, implementate a differentstrategies; Introducte professional, launch intermediate business, Develop nonprofit financialprograms; Active use of its special relationship with the big banks, To expand effective price behavior and cooperative behaviors; Strengthen internal management, Reduce operating costsand risks.(2) Government should correctly guide the large-scale joint-stock banks and ruralbanks to a benign win-win cooperation relationship; Play of its security functions; Use thefiscal funds to set up a special fund to support; Give rural bank tax breaks and subsidies.The main innovations of this paper: First, analyze the market concentration of ruralbanks by using of model systems, the financial products of rural banks by using of productdifferentiation model, and analyze the operation of the market behavior of the rural banksfrom the perspective of the village bank investment entities, sources of funding, businessobjects, behavior and cooperative behavior; Second, previous academic research-based, builda internal and external performance evaluation model by screening index, analyze the marketperformance of rural banks more systematicly;Third, propose a design to promote thedevelopment of rural banks.
