Abstract


PhD thesis is an important result of Doctoral Education , but also the quality of doctoral education direct signs. PhD thesis PhD direct response knowledge base , research ability , academic level , research attitude , and to some extent also reflects the level of development of the discipline . In this paper, a decade of higher education PhD thesis as the research object , using bibliometric methods , through the changes in these thesis topics , research methods applied analysis of the situation of higher education doctoral thesis reveals the characteristics and problems. Thought of higher education teaching and training doctoral work improved, providing reference. This paper uses bibliometric methods, 258 doctoral thesis research topics and research methods to analyze the distribution , including time distribution , schools, distribution , research topics and methods of cross-distribution and so on. The analysis shows that the current higher education PhD thesis of basic, applied , multidisciplinary and other characteristics, but there are also methods used are not standardized, high- quality design flaws . This paper argues that the reasons contributing to this problem is nothing more than external factors and internal factors in two ways. External factors are of degree geographical distribution of existing doctoral training methods, internal factors are doctoral students the basic knowledge and research capacity, and limited study time .
