Abstract

Voltage, frequency, waveform are the key indexes to characterize power quality. Whether the voltage is qualified will affect the safety and economy of power network operation directly. A large voltage deviation would not only pose a threat and damage to electrical equipment, but also may cause voltage collapse in severe cases, causing blackouts. The increasingly serious energy crisis and environmental pollution make energy conservation to be an important topic in various countries. A reasonable voltage and reactive power control strategy can not only significantly reduces energy loss in electricity transmission, but also improve the power grid voltage qualification rate and voltage stabilization level. Comprehensive utilize a variety of reactive power/voltage regulation means distributed in power plants and substations and implement global optimization control of reactive power to effectively improve the grid voltage quality and reduce power loss in transmission while ensuring grid security and stable operation is an important task the power grid facing. In this paper, by comparative analysis of domestic and foreign automatic voltage control (AVC) models, presents relaxation reactive power optimization model, voltage corrective control model and voltage stability constrained reactive power optimization model, and gives the corresponding solution algorithm, based on which, presents a practical real-time reactive power optimal and control scheme for provincial grid. Using OPF-based two-level voltage control model, this scheme realizes multi-objective coordinated optimization(voltage security, voltage stability, economic operation) by centralized optimal controlling of reactive power and voltage regulation equipments and coordinate controlling of regional AVC systems. The scheme this dissertation discusses has been used in Zhejiang power grid real-time reactive power and voltage optimal control system.
