Abstract


In recent years , with the continuous rapid development of commercial wireless communications , the system RF transceiver side increasing demands microwave filter as an important passive components widely used in the system , its performance the pros and cons will directly affect the whole system is good or bad . Therefore, the development of high-performance , miniaturized microwave filter has important practical significance . First, this paper introduces the principle and the frequency characteristics of the conventional single-mode rectangular ring resonator , and were directly coupled rectangular ring resonator and parallel coupled rectangular ring resonator frequency characteristics , simulation results show that the two resonators having a good frequency selection characteristics ; Secondly, the paper proposes a novel dual - mode rectangular ring resonator , and analyzed the structure and the frequency characteristic of such a resonator , and further based on the symmetric parallel coupled dual-mode rectangular ring resonator and asymmetric parallel -coupled dual-mode rectangular ring resonator frequency characteristics analysis , simulation results show that both dual-mode resonators also have a good frequency selectivity . Finally, such a dual - mode rectangular annular resonant applications to classic parallel coupling line band-pass filter , compared to design a band pass filter with the conventional parallel coupling lines of the classic type bandpass filter transition band steep better frequency selectivity -band attenuation characteristics significantly superior to the classical parallel coupled line band-pass filter .
