Abstract

Hyperbranched polymers is one of the hot spots in the field of polymer research in the last decade. Because of its special structure, it has a special performance of low viscosity, no chain tangles and good solubility. The hyperbranched polymer having a large number of reactive functional groups, and each of the functional groups can be further functionalization reaction. Therefore, the study of hyperbranched polymers has important practical significance to the preparation of new functional materials. Carbon black is an important industrial raw material, has good wear, heat, corrosion, coloring and conductive properties, and is widely used in rubber, ink and plastic industries. But carbon black is to be gathered by a large number of primary particles, large surface area and containing a large number of polar groups, and therefore difficult to disperse in the paint, the resin system, easy to flocculation and other shortcomings. The mechanical properties of the polymer composite material filling a carbon black depends not only on the mechanical properties of the polymer matrix, and also related to the interfacial properties of the carbon black and a polymer matrix. Therefore, surface modification of carbon black by the people's attention. Traditional carbon black surface graft modification method for large are introduced on its surface and a linear polymer. If the hyperbranched polymer has the characteristics of a large number of terminal hydroxyl groups, with the terminal hydroxyl groups of hyperbranched polymers graft-modified carbon black, modified the surface of the silica particles having a large number of terminal hydroxyl groups, and the modified silica particles between aggregation weakened. This paper is divided into three chapters, the main contents are as follows: Chapter 1: Introduction. Carbon black graft graft principles and Research conducted a brief review of the recent years, hyperbranched polymers Research. Chapter 2: AB3 hyperbranched polymers in the carbon black surface modification. Hydroxymethylation of carbon black for the reaction center core, AB3 type monomer on its surface, the purpose of step to polycondensation reaction, to form a hyperbranched polymer reaches a modified carbon black. Experimental results show that: the hyperbranched polymer modified carbon black surface graft in ethanol, the dispersibility and the stability is improved, modified silica particles aggregation weakened, and good enhancement of PVC, by tough role. Chapter 3: Hyperbranched Poly (amide - ester) modified carbon black thermal decomposition kinetics studies. Hyperbranched Poly (amide - ester) modified carbon black thermal decomposition kinetics study, the experimental results show that hyperbranched poly (amide - ester) modified carbon black in the thermal decomposition process under an inert atmosphere is divided into two phases. The first stage is the ester bond, amide bond breakage caused by weightlessness, and the second stage is a carbon black surface hyperbranched poly (amide - ester) carbonization and carbon black carbon atoms covalently bond breakage common cause weight loss. This paper further proposes a method to calculate the product of grafting rate by the thermal decomposition activation energy, calculated and experimental results are consistent.
