Abstract


This dissertation consisted of two parts.The first one is focused on metal triflates catalyzed organic reactions and their applications in organic synthesis. The second is focused on organic reactions and their applications in organic synthesis in ionic liquids or ionic liquids/water without additional catalyst.In the first part, the application of metal triflates in organic synthesis in recent years is reviewed, then five different reactions were studied as follows: (1)highly regionselective ring-opening of epoxides with thiols to obtainβ-hydroxy sulfides;(2)one-step reaction of epoxides with thiols in the presence of metal triflate and aqueous hydrogen peroxide to afford the correspondingβ-hydroxy sulfoxides with high selectity; (3)condensation reaction of anthranilimides with aldehydes to afford 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones or quinazolin-4(3H)-ones with chemoselectivity under different reaction conditions.Moreover, the one-pot reaction of isatoic anhydride,amines and aldehydes were also investigated under various reaction conditions;(4) enamination ofβ-dicarbonyl compounds with amines formingβ-enaminones and the investigation of the tentative reaction mechanism;(5)an approach to the Paal-Knorr mono- or bis-pyrroles synthesis from 1,4-diketones and amines or diamines. In the second part, the application of ionic liquids in organic synthesis in recent years is reviewed.Next, the dissertation reported that their applications of ionic liquids in organic synthesis.Then two reactions were studied as follows: (1)highly regioselective thiophenols to obtainβ-hydroxy sulfides in ionic liquids without additional catalyst;(2)condensation reaction of anthranilimides and aldehydes to afford 2,3-dihydroquinazolin -4(1H)-ones in ionic liquids without the use of any catalyst.And the one-pot reaction of isatoic anhydride, amines and aldehydes in ionic liquids/water without the use of any catalyst was examined.The remarkable advantages of the above mentioned reactions are mild reaction conditions,simple operation,high yields.It also meets the demands of the green chemistry to the organic reactions.
