Brushless DC motor brush mechanical electronic commutation instead of a new DC motor commutation , both traditional brushed DC motor speed control performance , but also has a simple structure of AC motors , reliable operation , easy maintenance, etc. . And small size, high efficiency , and has been widely used in many fields . However , the brushless DC motor torque ripple sensorless position detection difficulties some disadvantages , how to solve these problems makes the research more meaningful for brushless DC motor . The paper studies the structure of the permanent magnet brushless DC motor , and discusses in detail how it works and the commutation process . Through analysis , in theory, have been caused by commutation torque ripple , and introduced to reduce the commutation torque ripple . According to the mathematical model of a brushless DC motor , brushless DC motor body simulation model in MATLAB system simulation model of the brushless DC motor control simulation experiments . Designed brushless DC motor control system as a whole , expounded the basic structure of the system , working principle and design method , the system is based on TI's TMS320F2812 DSP core control chip control circuit . The software is modular in structure design , the various parts of concise , easy to modify and debug . This paper presents an improved PID control method , and the motor speed control . Finally , according to some experimental results obtained by comparative analysis to identify some of the torque ripple caused by factors , which can change the control method of the torque ripple is reduced .
