Abstract


With the development of the city , many of the historic old town, facing the problems of urban decay . Urban renewal strategy in the pursuit of economic growth at the same time , tend to ignore the importance of social factors , and is receiving increasing attention in urban regeneration strategy will promote the city 's economic growth , but also shape the city's vitality and character . Urban renaissance goal is to maximize the economic and social benefits of limited city resources , while in the case of many urban renaissance , the various manifestations of the culture of the city and elements is an important entry point for urban regeneration activities , so cultural horizons to study urban renaissance has extremely important practical significance . Part in the theoretical study , elaborated the theory of urban culture and urban renaissance and development process , through a comparative study of the impact of the urban culture of urban development , the role of urban culture in urban regeneration , urban regeneration cultural horizons should achieve.
