Abstract


As a by-product of corn production, green corn straw contains a lot of nutrients, is a good source of biomass and has tremendous potential for development.The overall objective of this paper is that basing on traditional using patterns and experience, combining with modern engineering technology, putting the compressing bundling technology on the first, we develop a simple, practical, economic, environmental protection, and efficient processing technology and using model, providing a new model for settling down the remaining corn straw.The main contributions of this research include:(1) Through the study of green corn straw bale compression characteristics, the key factors for whole straw compressing bundling were obtained, solving the standard cylindrical bales processing technology.Different diameter of corn straw different sections, compression, and the large number of leaves and bract ear, were the main factors for the whole straw bundling and the shape of bale.The characteristics of compressing bundling and the theoretical calculations bale diameter changing feature supply a theoretical foundation for the test platform design and experiment.(2) A new key compressing bundling technology was proposed and the straw bale compressing bundling experimental machine had been designed, reasonable modifications were proposed.Through the analogy of the working principle of bundling rope in the life, the compressing bundling principle was proposed, and the realization mode of the corresponding program was put forward, steel wire rope - curved board bundling model. Based on the statistical analysis of the shape size and the working heiht, the size of the test platform wad determined.After the compressing bundling practice with the test platform, reasonable changes and improvements were proposed to better accomplish the work of compressing bundling.(3) Using the self-designed compressing bundling experimental device, we made series test of different bundling ways and bundling bale size, and attained a reasonable compressed bundling way for cylindrical bale sand bundling bale standard sizes. Tests showed that straw placed end to end of the half-turn is the reasonable way to make compressed cylindrical bales and the result was in line with the theoretical calculation result; through tightness and density changes testing and bundling bale size testing, according to the actual silage requirements, the twoΦ500×1800mm andΦ500×900mm bale standards for whole straw bundling bale silage were determined, to playing a great role in promoting the use of compressing bundling model.(4) Based on the existing research, three kinds of models for the whole corn bundling bale were proposed, giving a orientation for the use of of green straw silage utilization of large-scale development.Through the exploration and thinking of whole straw compressing bundling models, three possible kinds of using models were proposed: portable compressing bundling mode, mobile compressing bundling mode and large-scale compressing bundling mode, giving a direction of development in future.
