Objective: To explore the best manual reduction of children's forearm fractures external fixation way . Methods: A retrospective analysis of treatment cases in January 2009 to collect summary of 75 cases of the more complete information Children forearm fractures with closed reduction , small splints bone pad (no points ) , 23 cases (A group) , small splints ( plus sub - bone pad ) in 24 patients (B group ) , 28 cases (C group ) external fixation plaster splint . Comparison of the three groups of patients after fracture healing , healing time , the function of the forearm and the incidence of complications . Results: splints ( with points plus bone mat ) group and the external fixation group fracture healing time plaster splint , forearm functional recovery , better efficacy than small splints ( without sub- bone pad ) group , complications occurred rate close to the three groups . Conclusion : The small splint outside fixed ( plus sub- bone pad ) and plaster splint fixation for the treatment of children's forearm double fracture efficacy significantly forward , fracture healing , forearm functional recovery is good , but small splints fixed ( plus sub- bone pad ) more convenient , easy to adjust and postoperative observation and easy- accepted by children and their parents , the children's forearm fractures , external fixation .
