Abstract


Purpose by the experimental method , the Implagraphy maxillofacial cone beam CT and multislice CT image quality and X-ray radiation dose comparison study , expected to determine a more suitable way of CT examination of the clinical features of oral and maxillofacial . Method 1 . Respectively Implagraphy maxillofacial cone-beam CT and multislice CT scan , and compare the two experimental phantom teeth , periodontal tissue , maxillofacial anatomical structure differences . 2. Use Implagraphy maxillofacial cone-beam CT and multislice CT scan phantoms , measurement parotid , submandibular and sublingual glands , bone surface , the eye lens , pituitary , by area according to the skin , red bone marrow , thyroid X-ray of the organs and tissues of the esophagus , lung , liver , colon , testicular , and oral mucosa absorbed dose calculated X-ray equivalent dose and effective dose calculated according to the relevant provisions of the \(E1990 and E2007) and cancer risk . CBCT of Results 1Implagraphy maxillofacial MSCT image quality superior to the teeth and periodontal tissue tiny anatomical structures and maxillofacial bone structure . Maxillofacial CBCT tissues and organs of the subjects in 2Implagraphy absorbed dose , equivalent dose , effective dose and radiation risk were significantly lower than MSCT . The conclusion Implagraphy maxillofacial cone beam CT is more suitable because of its excellent image quality and low radiation dose oral clinical need .
