Abstract


To build a harmonious society is the value orientation and target location of China’s social development, and then harmonious doctor-patient relationship is one of vital interaction relationships which efforts should be made on in the process of building the harmonious society. However, in the current period of social transformation, doctor-patient disputes and conflicts have been increasing, so the tension between doctors and patients has become one of prominent social problems. The significance of theoretical and practical guidance will be found in deeply understanding the tension of doctor-patient relationship in the period of social transformation to summarize the causes, features, trend and solution of the social problem.In this essay, doctor-patient relationship has come to a social problem, regarded as a social imbalance influencing social members’healthy life, hindering social harmonious development and arousing the public’s concern. After beginning with the description of connotation, features, concept and model of doctor-patient relationship and showing the historical development of doctor-patient relationship and its harmony and tension, this essay analyses the causes of the tension between doctors and patients, summarizes them into system defects, psychological dislocation and lack humanities and proposes countermeasures recommendations or introducing measures, by means of holistic view, unobtrusive research, existing statistical data analysis, historical/comparative research and case analysis.Firstly, this essay defines the macro background and social problems caused by doctor-patient relationship, discusses about methodology and procedures to study social problems, tries to give a theoretical outline of this essay. Secondly, it pays more attention to the combination of statistics materials and case analysis in order to comprehensively describe doctor-patient relationship in the period of social transformation. In focuses on analyzing the causes of the tension between doctors and patients, only after clarifying subjective and objective causes and conditions, there will be some solutions. Some suggestions may be abstract and unpractical, but this essay expresses the author’s ideal of solving the problem of doctor-patient relationship.There are about 31,000 words in this essay.
