Abstract


When the policy of The Decision about the Revolution of Investment System come out. It indicates that the investment management system of our country has begun to win over the past planned economy management pattern. With the deepening reform of investment system, fixed asset investment project in the city management system has been refined, but the existing project management system, there are still more disadvantages, such as the lack of unified management authority and decentralized coordination mechanism; existing project management system for the regulation of investment failed to give full play; inadequate supervision of the project; the project in a scientific and effective evaluation, decision-making system has not been established; the project management policy regulations should be improved. So the existing project management system not fully meet the requirements of the socialist market economy, the need for further reform.In this paper, Western countries through project management system for investment projects and comparative study of fixed assets investment projects in Jiangmen City, project management status analysis, in response to the main drawback, the Jiangmen City, the fixed assets investment projects, project management system should focus on project management from a central authority; reform and improve the three kinds of project management; improve project based on the authority and binding. An open, scientific project in decision-making process; strengthen the project management system for the regulation of investment; project to establish a sound project management and supervision; the establishment of a comprehensive project evaluation system; build a complete fixed asset investment projects, project management policies and regulations
