Using discrete element numerical calculation software coal mining circumstances surrounding rock fracture evolution and distribution rule, according to the above the surrounding rock stress and fracture evolution of research, using discrete element numerical method simulation rainfall infiltration, calculate goaf section and reveal the rain infiltration of the path, infiltration to coal face and goaf; through the fissure evolution and rain water seepage research findings. Along with the increase of mining depth of coal seam upper overburden strata exist due to stress the increase of water-blocking mechanism. To this kind of block water mechanism of existence in-depth study, using fractal theory calculation different coal mining open at fracture and closed evolution distribution dimension, Draw with the increase of mining depth of surrounding rock fracture closure rate, founding that increasing the linear relation between. Finally the fissure closure of rate and mining section the curvilinear relationship between explains the water-blocking mechanism of existence, using this mechanism of mining and reasonable water disaster prevention and treatment, for mining safety provide certain help.
