Abstract


High-grade roads are the arteries of economic development for the social and economic development has played an extremely important role. But any thing has two sides, and high-grade highways bring great benefits to human beings at the same time,but also gave rise to huge losses. How to prevent the occurrence of major accidents is an unavoidable issue. Combine reality in our province to initiate preventive measures this purpose.This objective data from a host of real start of major traffic accidents analyzed and summarized the characteristics of multi-angle analysis of the accident from the cause, from multiple aspects of accident prevention. This paper tried in many ways,analyze problems,solve the problem.This paper is divided into five parts for research. First, the paper covered the basic concept to explain;Second, in Gansu Province in recent years, an overview of major accidents, including those occurring since the number of deaths and property losses. Third, the Gansu Province of major characteristics of traffic accidents. Fourth, go into the details of major highways in Gansu Province causes of traffic accidents are divided into common causes and special causes. Fifth, the prevention of major accidents made legal response from the scientific and technological means, namely, re-charges, strict law enforcement, education and promotion, several aspects were discussed, with emphasis on the interval velocity system and to analyze the weight charges.
