Abstract


Abstract:After twenty years’debate, practice and development, Quality Education has become the main melody of education in China. Quality Education is becoming a common idea for all educators. The full promotion of Quality Education is a necessary choice for all schools in China to cultivate all-round developed socialist builders.Quality Education carries out China’s excellent traditional educational ideas, which is the important ideological base of quality education. Quality education reasonably absorbs and oversteps modern Western educational ideas. Quality Education is based on Marxism theory of human beings.The author, as an administrator of a junior middle school, has done a lot of researches on how quality education activities promote student’s all-round quality, what are the effective ways to promote middle school students all-round quality in daily teaching, and the self-examination in perplexity and difficulty of middle school Quality Education practice.The author has a further research on Shanghai Min Han District Shang Bao Middle School. The essential parts of Quality Education in Shang Bao Middle are:students should develop equally in moral characters, academic achievements, interests and specialities, and physical and psychological fitness.The effective implementation of Quality Education requires to form an individual school administration philosophy. The philosophy should show nature of Quality Education, should be in accord with laws, and should reflect the characteristics of the students and the school.The contents of Quality Education should become detailed requirements in practice. The students personality and quality should be formed in a happy moral atmosphere. The development should be based on excellent academic achievements, should begin with cultivating students’ interests, should promote students’ creation, should boost students’ harmonious development by happy P.E. and healthy mentality.In carrying out the implementation of junior middle school quality education, the school administrators should attach importance to the construction of school administration culture so as to form a systematic guarantee to promote Quality Education on base of school administration culture.The practical significance of Quality Education is more important than the theoretic significance. Some misunderstanding should be cleared up and self-examined. We should explore the contents and measurements of Quality Education in dynamic and growing ways. How to evaluate the effect of Quality Education scientifically is a major task nowadays. Without scientific evaluation, Quality Education will be of a mere formality.To explore junior middle school Quality Education is every educational administrator and educator’s responsibility and duty. The way for schools to carry out Quality Education is long and the positive result will be achieved through educational workers’ untiring efforts.
