Abstract


Distance education network platform by means of modern technology, integrated TV, online education, technology, set text, audio, video, information media as a whole, to meet different people and different learning needs of multimedia teaching methods. Along with social progress and the rapid development of Internet technology, the public education network distance dependence of the growing, based on the digital television technology to carry out various types of education and teaching applications of modern educational technology development, but also efficient use of educational resources needs. In view of this, we designed a study based on digital cable technology, distance education system. The greatest feature of this system is that users can use this multimedia devices into Internet TV, complete distance learning, interactive, video, and other online operations.Digital TV through the sharing of teaching resources, to achieve the exchange of teaching methods, learners receive digital TV sound through the system of educational resources and information. This real-time distance education students in the video communications provided off-site protection, reducing data latency and jitter, enhanced support for multimedia services, the network environment to ensure interoperability and remote real-time control, but also greatly enriched the online teaching resources, At the same time its high efficiency digital television, interactive features, distance education can be a good solution to the problem of inadequate infrastructure. By the current network infrastructure and technology constraints of distance education network to improve the status quo play a role.Based on the technical characteristics of digital TV systems and analysis of the characteristics of distance education, the use of digital television system to build distance education platform, remote education system design, further broadening the digital television applications. Effectively play the technical characteristics of digital television, digital television system mainly includes the basic structure and key technical support, IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), set-top boxes and system architecture, the integration of technology. The use of IPTV technology designed distance education system of the overall program, which features the largest IPTV technology is the ability to broadcast real time and can achieve on-demand and other means of communication, so the whole system framework designs, we mainly use the IPTV technology. Design and implementation of IPTV technology to give today’s information technology network to bring vitality and new impetus. Concluded that a further improvement of the design issues and technical aspects of distance education from a digital television network in the future direction of development.
