Abstract


In recent years, along with e-government in the popularity of a wide range of various provinces and cities across the country and in-depth , network management inevitably become a topic that can not be ignored by the majority of IT professionals . The face of existing network equipment , the establishment of a unified network management platform is an important part of the e-government solutions . The management platform is a combination of network device management , network operation and management of the integrated system of the host server management , network and application management platform . The main thrust of this paper is to receive and analyze the processing of network equipment , network security products and network equipment network events through the network management protocol . Message receiving network device using SNMP Trap mechanism , relying on VC 6.0 programming tools to handle TRAP packet , the main function of the software program will receive a packet parsing and stored into the database SQL2000 environment . Network management platform to the data reading and analysis , to guide the further operation of the network management personnel , in order to achieve the monitoring and protection of the government network backbone equipment . This paper mainly discusses network management protocol , SNMP applications , SNMP Trap mechanism in network failure alarm , as well as project development language VC 6.0 UCD- SNMP , the final overall introduced the government network network management platform architecture and functionality of the system as a whole .
