Implementation of CMM for software development company plays a vital role , CMM process itself is the development process for software companies a complete and accurate description of the company through the implementation of CMM, the software can not only better regulate the production and management processes , and standardization of the company organization . In this paper, CMM theory, design and implementation of a basic . NET, CMM self-assessment system . By analyzing the CMM assessment purposes , objects , content and evaluation conditions , environmental requirements , to CBA-IPI method as the basis, combined with software SPI practice organizational characteristics , design a CMM self-assessment system . The system as a database to SQL Server2000 . NET-based platform, using two-tier structure weighted survey results , get key process areas KPA (Key Process Area) questionnaire scores ; using KP (Key Process), weighted scoring three goals and KPA mode for expert ratings ; ultimately both a weighted average composite score generated KPA . System whose main function modules , including the new assessment , planning, surveys, expert ratings , statistics, query , system maintenance . This article describes the CMM self-assessment system development process .
