3D space visible surface geometry (three-dimensional reconstruction) is an important computer vision research and the ultimate goal of recovery from the two-dimensional image. Camera calibration is a key step of the three-dimensional reconstruction, camera self-calibration technology to solve the intrinsic parameters of the camera by the characteristics of the image itself. Relative to the traditional camera calibration method, self-calibration to avoid the tedious task to calibrate the camera with a special calibration object, and thus has a great deal of flexibility, making it possible changes in the scene unknown and camera parameters calibration. Camera self-calibration technology to become one of the hotspots of computer vision research. Compared with traditional stereo vision, rotating three-dimensional visual only need a camera calibration number of small, low cost, easy objects to achieve the overall reconstruction of the full range of shooting objects, can be completed. So this rotational stereo vision self-calibration algorithm more in-depth studies, mainly including the following three aspects: (1) in-depth study of the geometric properties of rotating stereo vision. Traditional self-calibration algorithm does not involve the geometric information of the scene is pure mathematics self-calibration algorithm, and the rotation of the stereo vision is a special kind of movement, it is necessary to study the geometric characteristics to maximize the use of the geometric information of the scene, and then combined with traditional self-calibration algorithm to study the rotation of the stereo vision of self-calibration. (2) within the parameters under the same conditions of self-calibration. Rotating three-dimensional visual geometric characteristics, and the use of self-calibration method based on the absolute conic. This algorithm is to identify a point in space in each picture of the image point, and thus all of the image point fitting a quadratic curve, and then calculate the secondary curve and the point of intersection of the vanishing line to the plane of rotation of the imaginary circle point image, so that the plane of the three rotating rotation, you can calculate the absolute conic images, and subsequently get the camera intrinsic parameters matrix. (3) within the parameters under variable conditions of self-calibration. The main use of the idea of ??a stratified reconstruction Projective Reconstruction restore objects from image coordinates to meet rotation constraints Projective Reconstruction correction, and finally achieve metric reconstruction. Rotating three-dimensional visual reconstruction of polysemy self-calibration algorithm is extended to variable conditions within the parameters. Finally, through simulation and real images experiments on self-calibration algorithm validation results prove the feasibility and accuracy of the algorithm can be used for practical applications.
