Abstract

With the development of marine resources and human exploration of the underwater world, underwater acoustic communication technology to become a research focus today. Underwater acoustic channel over a radio communications channel complex multi-, inter-symbol interference caused by multi-path extension is a major obstacle to restrict the development of underwater acoustic communication. In addition, the available bandwidth of the underwater acoustic channel is very limited, especially in remote low signal-to-noise ratio in the communication process, the communication rate has been extremely limited. Spread spectrum communication has strong anti-jamming capability, anti-multipath interference and low signal-to-noise ratio and environmental work, as well as code division multiple access, a number of advantages it has broad application prospects in the field of underwater acoustic communication, but because of the spread spectrum communication through sacrifice the the bandwidth exchange for the signal-to-noise ratio of a work, therefore, the development of spread spectrum in underwater acoustic communication is relatively slow and is mainly used in some low-speed underwater acoustic communication system. How to make full use of the limited resources of the band to improve the transmission efficiency, and focus on the problem of developing remote underwater acoustic communication technology. Parallel combination of spread spectrum technology in recent years developed a soft spread spectrum communication has a high transmission efficiency and bandwidth efficiency, suitable for use in military secure communication, burst communication, and band-limited environment. This paper focuses on the basic principles of the parallel combination of spread spectrum technology and its data mapping algorithm, and the first time in its application to the field of underwater acoustic communication, build a parallel combination of spread spectrum underwater acoustic communication system simulation environment, a significant improvement in the high transfer efficiency of the conventional spread spectrum communication system of the underwater acoustic problems. Simulation results verify that the communication system in the stability and reliability in remote shallow water acoustic channel. Data mapping algorithm for parallel combination of spread spectrum systems complexity and difficult engineering, the packet M-ary spread spectrum communication design, its working principle is similar to the parallel combination of spread spectrum systems, just different data mapping algorithm. Through the establishment of the group M-ary spread spectrum underwater acoustic communication system, the communication system simulation fully verify the feasibility of the communication system. In addition, this paper also focused on the the mapping sequence spread spectrum approach works and performance, and the mapping sequence spread spectrum applied to the parallel combination of spread spectrum underwater acoustic communication system to improve the peak-to-average power ratio of the transmitted signal, reducing the probability of transmission errors . Problems specific programs of the the optimized spreading code set, to enable them to better adapt to the parallel combination of spread spectrum systems. Finally, the combination of the mapping sequence spread spectrum characteristics of exploratory research also its sensor nodes to transmit control information as well as multiple access protocol in underwater acoustic communication network master node designed for mapping expansion frequency applications in the field of underwater acoustic communication opened up broad application prospects.
