Abstract


Radar engineering in today's world , phased array radar has become an important direction of the development of modern radar , due to the special nature of airborne radar use environment , experienced a long history of development today makes phased array system airborne radar developed , at home and abroad developed with air / air and air / surface , navigation and other multi-functional , intelligent airborne phased array radar has become a reality, but also because these different from the previous machine sweep radar advantage to the radar system performance assessment , radar maintenance and fault location work brings a greater challenge , therefore , a new generation of automatic test system developed not only a study of the automatic test system itself , but also related to the phased array antenna , microwave technology , and other related professionals , need to the working principle and characteristics of the test object has a deep understanding . This paper first introduces the development and current status of the automatic test system , and then combined with the characteristics of the airborne phased array radar , especially for the phased array antenna test depth testing requirements analysis , and on this basis with VXI and GPIB the overall design of the test system of hybrid bus technology , focused on solving the phased array antenna in radar design debugging process parameter testing and status detection problem on a variety of radar scene of the combat environment in the automatic test system simulation to achieve , and phase the phased array radar unit test method is discussed .
