Abstract


Internet and games become attached to already a long time, but restricted by various factors, the international Olympic committee (ioc) spread on the Internet holds negative attitude for a long time, the Olympic Games spread of Internet development is slow. With the continuous development of Internet, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, first with "Internet content service sponsor" categories, such as the Internet new media for the first time as an independent broadcaster, included in the Olympic Games together with the traditional media broadcast system. This is a landmark event, with the Internet as a leading new media can finally show their transmission power in all aspects and charm, to write a new page in history of the Olympic Games spread. This article first reviewed the development of the Olympic Games the spread of the Internet, the development of the Internet situation ahead of the Olympic Games in Beijing are analyzed; Then system, deeply analyzes the major portals and traditional news website's performance in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games reports, to their respective characteristics are summarized; Next, the spread of the Olympic Games on the Internet in both video and blog reports that grabs an eye way carries on the analysis; Finally, summarizes the Internet's performance in the Olympic reports, reports to the Internet for the future of the large sports events play a guiding role.
