Abstract


The materials of ceramic sculpure are ceramic. Ceramic sculpure is independent on sculpture product with three–dimensional. Its a part of ceramic decoration, and also a part of eco-sculpture.Ceramic materials have been enriched and unique texture in visual and tactile, and varied texture of ceramic, so that the ceramic sculpture has a high ability to adapt to the environment. Ceramic sculpture is playing an increasingly important role with its natural and ecological materials in environmental design.According to the order of historical development, with relevant information, this article overviews the history of development of the ceramic materials and ceramic sculpture.With the language features of the ceramic sculpture materials, from the perspective of physiology and environmental psychology, it explores the the role of ceramic sculpture to the person’s physical and psychological needs.Ceramic sculpture is a part of the environment .This trigers thought with the modern ceramic sculpture how to play the characteristics of ceramic materials. and make sure modern ceramic sculpture integrated into the new environment better. The modern ceramic sculpture must be based on the tradition of innovation to come into the environment. It should give full play of ceramic material properties and let itseif be in harmony with the surrounding environment, enhancing the quality of the environment design.
