Abstract


Since the implementation of openness and reform policy, Chinese government has made remarkable achievements in our economic development, unprecedented development has also happened to Chinese industry. However, in the course of economic development, a series of problems including rapid growth, large consumption, heavy pollution and low efficiency also been arisen. Whether can our government form the pillar industries with Chinese Characteristics and adjust unreasonable industrial structure, has become an important strategic problem to decide the role of Chinese economy in the international division and gain economic benefit. The 17th National Congress of the CPC said: "building the ecological civilization; forming the kind of industrial structure, economic growth mode, consumption pattern which can save energy resources and protect ecological environment." How to make the development of industry not to take useless way, and to avoid the social and environmental problem which has been occurred in developed countries’ modernization process, to realize sustainable development, is not only a theory problem, but also a practical question which needs to be solved urgently in Chinese economic social development. The strong need for industry practice is asking for the joining of philosophy. What the development of industry needs is not only the guidance of economics, but also the conversion of its view, taking a philosophy view to study on industry, so as to gain deeper understanding to the essence of industry, to change traditional values and developmental ideas, then, to open up a new thought for the development of industry. Based on this situation, the philosophy of industry was born.Practice as the primary and basic standpoint of Marxism; itself is a bridge to connect the subjective and objective, subject and object, human and nature, human and human. Production practice as the basic form of social practice, is the foundation of the living and development of human, and is an important category of Marxism. As the most common content of practice, industry reflects the changing and development of times, and the depth and breadth between human and nature. Philosophy of industry, of which the study object is industry practice, examines the general law of industry and the development of industry from philosophy perspective; provides industry view and methodology from the sustainable development of industry, then, provides theoretical basis for the ongoing economic restructuring and building of socialist harmonious society. This thesis makes a general survey on the evolution process of industry, and elaborates thoroughly the basic theory of philosophy of industry; points out that the development of industry needs the guidance of philosophy more urgently in the era of knowledge economy; explores the general law of the development of industry; and tries to put forward beneficial countermeasures for the sustainable development of Chinese industry. There are four sections in this thesis.The first section is the preface of this thesis. This section mainly makes necessary illustrations for the background, significance, existing research results; put forward the innovation of this thesis; and introduces the methods.The second section is about the overview of industry. This section emphasizes on analyzing the conception of industry; elaborates the development process of industry; explains the industry view of Marxism and its significance.The third section is about the related theory of philosophy of industry. This section, on the basis of striving for innovation, makes a systematic pectination on the related theory of philosophy of industry; analyzes the connotation and study object of philosophy of industry, together with the discipline attribute, study trend; elaborates the function and value of philosophy of industry; puts forward some viewpoints of my own.The fourth section is about philosophy of industry and the development of industry. This section emphasizes on elaborating the present situation of the development of Chinese industry, and using the basic viewpoint of philosophy of industry, trying to put forward countermeasures for sustainable industrial development, the detailed four measures are as follows: realizing regional complement and common progress; speeding up developing service industry; improving traditional industry;constructing the system of environmental and economic policy; managing effectively environmental problems; developing recycle economy and immaterial industry; handling the pressure of poverty of resources; strengthening the degree of technical innovation; developing burgeoning industries energetically.
