Abstract

The relative amplitude preserving, high resolution, high S/N ratio are the role of the seismic exploration data processing in the oil and gas industry and are all the processors working for. More and more buildings and vessels become appearing on the sea following the development, for example oil rigs, cargos, light house etc, those obstructs cause a coherent nonlinear noise on the seismic data---side reflection noise, the quality of seismic imaging is affected very seriously because the traditional methods can’t work well, specially for the pre-stack migration imaging, so a further study is necessary. In this thesis, the creative research is mainly done on the following facets: First, to giving a brief introduction of the marine seismic exploration activity; Analyzing how the side reflection noise to be the generated, and it’s characters, attributions in very detail; Then a creative idea was built based on the above analysis: locating the position of the obstructs through the sample shots, mark out the noise elimination windows by following the shape of the noise signals; The noise was filtered out in FK domain, mean while avoided the alias and protect the primary reflector in maximum by optimizing noise attenuation window; Also a amplitude recovery operation was done for the amplitude preserving purpose. The maneuverability and efficiency for huge data were considered according as the necessary of production.Based on the above research work, the kinematics and dynamics of the noise was confirmed; Software was developed; The real data processing result was very satisfied and stable by comparing the images. The test also confirmed that this method can handle process huge data in a easy way.
