Industrial effluent containing a variety of suspended solids, colloidal particles, cause a high chemical oxygen demand (COD) and a variety of organic contaminants, must adopt the the flocculation necessary technology for processing. In this paper, the important issues of common effluent turbidity and COD in wastewater treatment, on the the inorganic flocculants principle, there is the problem with the understanding of the trends and characteristics of industrial sewage prepared functional polymer flocculant The main contents include inorganic polymer flocculant synthesis of polymeric ferric sulfate (PFS), the composite polymer flocculant (PMC) series, as well as strengthen the flocculant (BTA) series of composite flocculant preparation and application performance evaluation. Ferrous sulfate - the sodium chlorate direct oxidation Department of PFS, prepared by using sodium chlorate as an oxidant, sulfuric acid as a modifier, preparation of potassium permanganate as a catalyst under acidic conditions, by regulating the content of sulfuric acid to determine the best system mass ratio ferrous sulfate: sodium chlorate: potassium permanganate: concentrated sulfuric acid = 30:2:0.5:6; determined by the amount of sulfuric acid plus research the impact of the law on product performance and stability nSO42: nFe3 lt; 3:2 the PFS state of stability and excellent performance comparison. The experimental product on simulated sewage turbidity removal rate reached 90% or more, the COD removal rate reaches about 40% conversion rate reached 67% of ferrous sulfate, derived through the analysis of the structure and composition of the product. Attapulgite (ATP) is a hydrous magnesium aluminum silicate clay mineral, is a highly adsorptive porous environmental mineral materials, in the field of industrial wastewater treatment has a high application value. Pregelatinized starch (CStarch), the prehydration ATP and inorganic polymer flocculant PAC (PAC) on the basis of previous work by our group through each component of the positive benefit gain synthesized kinds of mineral-based multicore polymer flocculant PMC, and by improving the system's ratio of research to improve the stability of the product, to solve the low ATP content in the original product, product instability issues. The system CStarch content increased to 30% from 15.3% hydration system ATP content increased from 4.5% to 8.8%, plus reached 100ppm flocculation turbidity removal reached more than 95%, and the stability of the system. Turbidity removal rate reached 92% in the treatment of industrial water purification experiments Xilin Iron and Steel plant cycle. Drop flocculation theory based on heterogeneous nucleation, poor as well as the understanding of the structure and properties of the mineral clay, the use of bentonite as a flocculant matrix composite variety of additives, its influencing factors and the applicable environmental research, preparation of a composite mineral-based strengthening the flocculant (BTA). Found with the solid PAC's performance through its turbidity removal performance of PAC equivalent effect to simulate the experimental evaluation of water suspended solids, turbidity removal rate of 99%, and the settling time is just traditional PAC 50%.
