The research is in the original production equipment and production process on the basis of the main work includes two aspects: on the one hand , the actual production , sampling , control , human-machine interface microcomputer hardware and software required for the analysis and transformation , the cupola run control and monitoring computer system architecture , the use of PLC as a data acquisition and digital control under the crew , IPC as a host computer to monitor the running of the cupola . On the other hand through a large number of experiments , the control parameters of the cupola is running and operating procedures were analyzed , and sets out a control cupola hanging iron control measures and process parameters , form stereotyping open furnace process . Basically solved the cupola hanging iron , to ensure the smooth progress of production , a lot of saving costs , ensure product quality , ensure safety , and laid the foundation for the completion of the company's production and operation targets . The main work of the research are: analysis of the cupola linked to the formation of iron causes and specific control methods ; design the program to solve the problem of hanging steel ; mathematical analysis method of the running of the cupola , on this basis on the re-enactment the cupola operation of process parameters and operating procedures ; sampling and control system hardware and software has been improved ; redesigned the monitoring software and man-machine interface ; process parameters and operating procedures of the large number of experiments and gradually revised and improved. Research projects cupola run more than 80 hours , the percentage of rated operating capacity increased from 50% to more than 85% , the weight of the hanging steel from 4 tons / furnace down to 1 ton / furnace .
