Abstract

Photorefractive organic polymeric material is a new kind of non-linear optical material since 1990s. Our group synthesized a novel carbazole organic photorefractive material (Cz/TNF) , and conducted a series of photorefractive experiments.Because the direct result of photorefractive experiment is beam propagation image which got from CCD camera, the thesis designed the image data extraction software. Firstly ,the software pre-processed the picture by changing the gray and rotating the picture to make the beam in horizontal position; then through setting the software parameters obtained intensity data of arbitrary beam’s cross-section, by automatic calculating picture’s background light intensity obtained every cross-section’s FWHM. A large number of experiments’data processing shows: The software is convenient, fast and easy to operate. After extracted the data we use ORIGIN to draw the gray curve, the dynamic evolution of beam, the changes of beam width and peak intensity. This provide a very good way to summarize the experimental results quickly and accurately. This thesis dealt with the data from Cz/TNF film holographic focusing experiment. Based on data collection and analysis, I found that the sample itself would not lead to a strong focusing effect. After the pump beam was loaded, by comparing different section’s beam width and peak intensity, holographic focusing effect has been occurred in the sample. Moreover, the thesis dealt with three samples with different sensitizer doping percentage and found that the three samples all have holographic focusing effect. This thesis analyzed dissipation holographic soliton observation experiment’s data, dealt with the signal beam’s propagating phenomenon with and without the pump beam. Moreover, we continuously changed the system parameter to conduct the experiment. At last, we observed dissipation holographic soliton in suitable experiment condition.
