Abstract


In 1995 the ABB corporation developed the induction machine drive ACS600 which used direct torque control (DTC) algorithm. The ACS600 have been widely used in the industry field. But the DTC used in the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive has many problems yet. The paper puts emphasis on the stator flux observer and the torque ripple of the DTC system. This paper contains following sections.Firstly, for the problem that the result of the integration is related to the initial value and the DC drift is accumulated by integration, two meliorations are discussed. One is the cascade low pass filter algorithm, and the other is modified adaptive integrator algorithm. A method of compensate the stator resistance used PI adjustor is proposed, in order to solve the stator resistance change because temperature warming up.Secondly, because using hysteresis comparison control algorithm, traditional DTC system has many disadvantages, for example the torque ripples. Based on the analysis of torque ripple in DTC system, fuzzy control theory is introduced. Fuzzy controller is used to replace the hysteresis controller. Further more since the six sectors fuzzy controller selects error voltage vector in the sector boundary, a twelve sectors fuzzy controller is proposed. The torque ripple is further decreasedAt last, experiment platform based the TMS320F2812 DSP is developed to verify the analyses and simulations result of the control strategy. The effectiveness of the strategy are confirmed on the experiment result.
