Abstract


Dynamic Compaction (DC) has been widely and successfully used to treat ground since its creation by L. Menard in 1968 and some of its innovated techniques such as dynamic replacement have been developed. At the same time,theoretical and experimental researches have been done gradually. Although there are comparatively some researches on it, the design of dynamic compaction is highly empirical and qualitative because of the complicated parameter of the soil itself. Up to now, there are no systematical theory and the agreed opinions for the designing and application of the dynamic compaction and the degree of improvement for dynamic compaction is left to be determined by way of testing after construction further researches aimed to the study of the effect of treatment and the analyses of the designing method are essential desired on remote the level of an dictation .Dynamic Consolidation has become a generally accepted ground improvement technique for its simplicity and cost-effectiveness. Dynamic consolidation of the foundation to further improve soil strength and uniformity,lower compression to eliminate uneven subsidence,to improve the physical and mechanical properties of engineering characteristics with obvious results.Based on the analyzing the method of designing the dynamic compaction in the world and studying the dynamic consolidation effect soil compression modulus increases and the depth and impact of capacity increases and deep into effete analysis of the trip, this paper has put forward the opinions of the unsaturated soils ground by dynamic compaction and suggested the method of selecting the dynamic compaction parameters and the method which was used in the f ield has achieved desired effects by the examples. At last, the paper was analyzed and applied the testing method effect of treatment by dynamic compaction and summarise the example to make a conclusion about influence of the dynamic compaction construction parameters and the characteristic of foundation soils on effective reinforcement depth. It can be used as instruction guide for other projects.
