Abstract

Ultrafiltration technology can effectively remove microorganisms in water, and to some extent reduce organic pollutants in water, which has a high efficiency, low energy consumption, simple process, etc., is a green efficient new water separation technology. The main subject for the polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane water flux is low, hydrophobicity, anti-pollution and poor performance characteristics, the method of doping through the nano-modified film, investigated casting solution film-forming conditions and the ratio on the membrane structure and properties, in order to find the best PVDF / organic rectorite composite ultrafiltration membrane casting solution ratio and casting conditions; and polyvinylidene fluoride / organic rectorite composite ultrafiltration membrane treatment effect for a preliminary study for the industrial application of PVDF membrane experiments lay a foundation. The results show that organic Rectorite adding nanomaterials can improve the water flux and rejection, effectively improve the ultrafiltration membrane hydrophilicity. Found that the polymer solid content of poly (vinylidene fluoride) membrane performance and structure of a greater impact, polyvinylidene fluoride membrane by a solid phase content preferably 16wt%-18wt%. In terms of casting solution also investigated, lithium chloride, glycerol and polyvinylpyrrolidone as additives on the membrane structure and properties, considering the film's various properties, obtain the following strengthened polyvinylidene fluoride / organic tired Tortola composite ultrafiltration membrane casting solution ratio: PVDF solid content of 16wt%-18wt%, content of organic Rectorite 1wt%-2wt%, additive content of polyvinylpyrrolidone 6wt%-9wt%. Coagulation bath temperature and composition of the evaporation time of the casting solution temperature, solvent and non-solvent can affect the rate of exchange between, which will affect membrane structure and properties, the preparation process of the film thus plays a key influence. The water flux through the membrane and the performance of investigation, found that when the coagulation bath temperature is fixed at the lower temperatures favor the casting solution in membrane water flux increased, also in the casting solution temperature is fixed, the low-temperature coagulation bath access to high water flux membrane. The sodium chloride is added in the coagulation bath and dimethylacetamide will cause membrane water flux decreased. Optimized PVDF / organic rectorite composite ultrafiltration membrane also has good water permeability and retention performance, with the increase in the number of backwash has better stain resistance, at times remains after backwashing higher water flux recovery rate; can reduce the water content of TOC, also have a higher turbidity removal efficiency, to make the water was further purified to reduce the pollution of the natural environment.
