Abstract

Layered rocks are very common in engineering practice as a rock, in mining engineering , engineering, water conservancy and hydropower engineering, construction, highways and other projects and construction of the actual structure , there is a sediment layer associated with the composite rock mechanics problem, namely the problem layered composite rock . From nature to solve this problem , the key is to seek to layered geological materials for the study of layered composite rock deformation characteristics such as strength and fracture failure criterion theory to solve practical engineering problems encountered . Further studies on the layered composite rock , rock mechanics in a rich , directing engineering practice , close contact with other disciplines , has great academic significance and application prospects. In this paper, a method similar simulation , using cement , gypsum , sand as similar material to sand as aggregate , cement plaster as the main material , cement cementing material to simulate the auxiliary layered rocks of the studied layered composite rock samples block uniaxial, biaxial and triaxial compression test , study was funded by a combination of different sequences of the three layered composite under pressure rock deformation characteristics , strength characteristics and the stress - strain relationship , while derived layered composite rock the damage constitutive and create layered composite rock failure instability criterion . ABAQUS finite element software application layered composite numerical simulation of rock by numerical simulation of rock failure modes , stress distribution and compare the results with the experimental analysis .
