Abstract

Retractable roof structure is a new type of structure in which the roof structure is divided into several movable and fixed elements, using of appropriate mechanism in accordance with the expected trajectory of movable elements to achieve the object of opening. Because of its unique characteristics, compared with the traditional structure, the retractable roof structure exists motion state. The more complex movable ways are, the greater probability of collision happens. In this paper, through the response surface method, SEA(Specific Energy Absorption)is analyzed and fitted by the use of ANSYS/LS-DYNA, the approximate expression of SEA about the design variables on t and d of thin-walled circular tube is acquired, according to SEA than the response surface graphics can be seen: more than the design of SEA in the entire region with the t value and increase the value of d showing a downward trend; At the same time, using the structural optimization algorithm, the optimal solution of the function about SEA is attained. By the analysis of the collision response of two closed roof with different velocity, its response characteristics and the impact on collision response due to the different speed are summed up. Combined with passive protection methods, by installing a round thin-walled steel pipe and square steel pipe as the energy component on the interface of the net first quarters, contrastive analysis of collision response is made and there are qualitative conclusions.Studies have shown that the collision of two roofs is shown by the major displacement of the rigid body, rigid body speed, collision impact, axial force, collision contact stress, as well as bars such as reaction force. The collision response of two sporting roofs is relation to its speed, that is, with the initial kinetic energy of the collision, the greater the kinetic energy of the initial collision, the greater the roof in response to the collision. The energy-consuming components is set up on the interface of the net first quarters, greatly reduce the collision response of the roof. Compared the two energy-consuming components of same quality, the SEA of the thin-walled square steel tube is a little more than the circular steel pipe, the largest steel shaft and bearing reaction force of the roof which is set up thin-walled square steel pipe is less than the roof which isn’t set up. So the collision part of the roof to set the thin-walled square steel structures as energy-consuming components better than the thin-walled circular steel pipe.
