In order to prevent injury, researchers and relevant government departments are required to obtain accurate, reliable, comprehensive injury occurrence information and its epidemiological characteristics. Therefore, we should actively carry out research work on injuries among the residents in. This research chooses Jiangsu province Wujiang city to carry out the study of injury, mainly considering its in the Yangtze River Delta region, economic development, population mobility, injury incidence is increasing year by year, already the serious harm to the health of the residents. This will be the same area in the period of injuries among the residents of the investigation result and hospital injury surveillance results together, a comprehensive analysis of the epidemiological characteristics of injury occurrence, make the government department in charge of comprehensive understanding of the local injury panorama and science-based prevention policy provide scientific basis, but also for our country to further establish and improve the injury surveillance system and provide the basic information.Methods:1.Residents injury investigation: Using multistage stratified cluster sampling method, sampling area, Tongli town and the town of loose hill of Zhenze town 3 towns, each town from 2 residential and 2 natural villages, the sample of families of all family members as participants in the survey, a total of survey of 1002 households, 3117 residents, investigation of the time for the January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010 period the occurrence of injuries and epidemiological analysis.2. Hospital injury surveillance: Using stratified random sampling method, the extraction of Wujiang city first people’s Hospital, Tongli health center and a center for health 3 hospital as damage monitoring of hospital. Monitoring objects for January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010 in monitoring hospital was diagnosed with injuries in patients with first diagnosed, and the monitoring data for epidemiological analysis.3.
