Abstract


Twentieth first centuries is an epoch when the science and technology develop rapidly, the international competition is increasingly sharp, the economic globalization trend is salient. As an important component of education enterprise, the middle occupational education will be effective tangibly. It is not only rational conceiving, but also a response to the modern economic life which taking "compound applying graduate" as its goal and advocating competence-based management theory as its education model in middle occupational school.The essence of competence-based management is that taking competence as basis, adopting effective measures, facilitating human capacity function, maximizing human value. This competence refers to comprehensive professional capacity. The emerging of competence-based model is the reflection and rebellion of occupational education against the discipline or knowledge-based model of general education. The key element of sustainable development of middle occupational education is continuing innovation and reforming. Comparing to traditional occupational education, competence-based education model has apparent advantage. This thesis, from two aspects of theory and practice, comprehensively and systematically analyze the concept, characteristics, history and necessity of competence-based education model. Based on analysis of the problem of middle occupational education, this thesis proposes application of competence-based education model in middle occupational education. It hopes the research will enlighten the problem-solving of middle occupational education.The thesis includes five parts. The first part introduces developing process of and studies on occupational education crossing domestic and abroad. The second part critically reviews competence-based management theory. The third part describes and analyzes the status and goal of china middle occupational education. The fourth part is my construction on the middle occupational education model of competence-based management. The fifth part introduces the implement process of this model. The last part gives a case to analyze possibility of this model.In sum, this study corresponds with the request of our time, it adapts to the tendency of strongly development of china middle occupational education. Through my research on middle occupational education based on competence-based management, it will find some solution to the problem presenting in middle occupational school, provide theoretical supports to promotion of education level of middle occupational school and development of middle occupational school.
