Abstract


The epistolary novel is \From the research point of view of the existing modern epistolary novel, the researchers either analysis, the lack of overall care of the individual writers and their works; either combing Development of Chinese modern epistolary novel, the lack of in-depth and practical profiling. In this paper, a Time of Change mental condition and social psychology, self-awareness as a starting point to explore the relationship between the revolutionary literature flourished during the epistolary novel self-consciousness from the late 1920s, the May Fourth literary revolution occurred. Modern epistolary novel generation of development as well as the last fading, and the writer self-awareness is closely related to the change. For self-realization, under the influence of the social turmoil of the times, the young writers in China towards the path of social revolution. The writer of self-awareness changes brought literary concept of change, to become the consensus of the writers for the performance object to the masses of workers and peasants. Because of its limitations, the epistolary novel had disappeared from the stage of history of modern Chinese fiction.
