Abstract


The personal financial services of commercial banks has been advanced by leaps and bounds although it has been carried out by Bank of China FJ Branch as the same as other commercial banks in our country for not a long time. It becomes an important financial product. However, the“negative profit”events appeared frequently in financial services. It not only brought about greatly negative impacts for Bank of China FJ Branch to carry out the financial services but also damaged the reputation and development of Bank of China FJ Branch. At the same time, it led directly to the investors’confindence and loyalty in Bank of China FJ Branch was seriously affected.The paper researched the“negative profit”problem in personal financial services of Bank of China FJ Branch. Referred to the financial statements and related business data about the China Bank FJ Branch in recent years, it analysed the the external and internal environment of personal financial services carried out by Bank of China FJ Branch, and researched the current situation of the personal financial services carried out by commercial banks in China and the Bank of China FJ Branch. Based on these, it made a comprehensive study on the current situation and the“negative profit”problem of personal financial services. Additionally, the paper made a systematic analysis by method of personal interview on the influence of Bank of China FJ Branch and investors by the“negative profit”problem.The paper analyzed the reason of the“negative profit”problem in personal financial services in Bank of China FJ Branch, pointing out that the design of personal financial products were unreasonable, financial crisis affected the investment market, risk management mechanisms of financial products is not insufficient, the products were delayed put in, the external supervision was weak and the financial professionals were lacked. It put forward six suggestion to settle the“negative profit”problem that improve the ability of creating and designing the financial products, firm the reveal of the products information, strengthen the standardization of financial products operation, improve the personal financial services risk management and internal control system, establish emergency plans of personal financial services and strengthen the management of financial professionals. These suggestions about the continued development of financial services are operational and have practical significance to deal with the“negative profit”problem by Bank of China FJ Branch. At the same time, it provided the useful help for the commercial banks to deal with the“negative profit”problem.
