Education is one of the key factors in the economic and social development , and it plays an important role in alleviating poverty , and teachers determine the quality of education . In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology and communication technology , especially the rapid development of the Internet , MPLS VPN technology to solve enterprise Internet capabilities and the ability to provide a rich business is increasingly becoming an important means for network operators to develop new value-added services . MPLS VPN technology can be divided into physical IP network planning the network logically isolated from each other , it can offer enterprise interconnect , shared interconnection between enterprises , as well as the formation of IP the Phone VPN, video VPN , modern distance education with the development of these technologies to to a new approach , and provide technical support for the implementation of the modern distance education policy for the new century, China . Officially launched in December 2002 - United Nations Development Programme 403 (UNDP403) project , is the application of distance education and ICT technology to improve the quality of teachers of the poor areas of western China , and thus improve the quality of teaching . This article is based on the assurance techniques UNDP403 project, the status of distance education and distance education , VPN-based remote education network designed to provide a network design reference scenario , Gansu Province, the implementation of the modern distance education . This paper first introduces the knowledge of distance education , and then analyze the strengths and weaknesses based on the basic principle and the key technology of VPN remote education network VPN technology design based MPLS VPN as the main networking technology , and on this basis , to SSL VPN for assistive technology based on the VPN remote education network design . Finally , through the implementation of the SSL VPN , VPN - based remote education network has better scalability , ease of use and high safety , security control and the design to meet the client is using the same technology program , it can meet the needs analysis requirements sufficient to ensure the smooth implementation of the distance education network .
