Abstract


The network storage system widely used to improve the efficiency in the use of the data , at the same time bring great challenges for data security . In this paper, starting from the point of view of the confidentiality of data protection NAS network attached storage system , use the the IPSec protocol security framework , research and data encryption embedded on the NAS system secure transport mechanism . This article relates to the research work in the following areas : ( 1 ) IPSec protocol architecture gives IPSec designed , the role and composition . Analysis of IPSec two security protocols - AH and ESP, including the security features of each protocol , packet format , the application and processing of data packets . Security Association ( SA ) as well as two modes: transport mode and tunnel mode , the organization and management of SA means - Security Association Database ( SAD ) , as well as security policy management tools - security policy database ( SPD ) . Finally, the Internet Key Exchange (IKE) are described in detail . ( 2 ) the implementation of IPSec protocol analysis IPSec on ??Linux to achieve Frees / WAN , including its structure and composition ; focuses on how to use the SPD and SAD combination of representation and management to implement a security policy , the SPD and SAD data structure , construction method, the search algorithm , and the two are related . ( 3 ) the construction and testing of the NAS secure transmission module designed on the basis of in - depth study on the IPSec the NAS security transmission module . Then, the detailed description of the structure of secure transmission module , including the installation and configuration of Linux system configuration , Frees / WAN . Finally, the secure transmission module testing, including functional testing and performance testing .
